I need an opinion about if these books or plays are good or not. You don’t have to do all of them.?

8. The Catcher in the Rye by J. D. Salinger – It’s pretty good, although I think you would enjoy it far more if you read it as a teenager rather than an adult.

10. Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad – I tried, I REALLY tried. It is the hardest book in the world. i managed 20 pages,but had no idea what was going on!

Plays

4. Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? by Edward Albee – AMAZING! It is one of the best things I have ever read and I am counting down the days until i am old enough to play Martha!
5. The Merchant of Venice by Shakespeare – I love Shakespeare and I am actually rehearsing for this at the moment. But I hate this play. Probably a symptom of the times, butit is the most horrifically racist thing I have read. (I haven’t read Mein Kampf though!)
6. No Exit by John Paul Sartre – I’ve not read it but I have seen it. It was pretty good.
