Solo Duet

It is regularly said that spontaneity is a prime element to keeping an intimate relationship evolving.  Still, it’s easy to get into routines, especially with the person we love.  We get to know each other and what we prefer, and we fall into habit.  There is much of familiarity in routines, and there’s significant benefit to them too.  Still, there is something exciting about finding something fresh or maybe not following the map always.  This may surprise your mate in a really excellent way also and tease out a totally fresh aspect of your bond that you did not know was there.

A great idea to surprise your partner with is singing lessons.  Most couples find pleasure in sharing music, and many of them also have a song they consider “theirs” or a variety of bands that they have in common.  So, it is not entirely impossible that sharing a musical surprise with your significant other could be a very positive experience.  As it can be difficult to allocate time to share together between jobs and acquaintances and activities and relatives, online singing lessons is a way that you can make this possible without having the stress of having to go somewhere at a appointed time to do it.

Consider the fun you could have getting to know each other on another level as you learn to sing together.  It’s the hurdle of taking on something new, and it’s enjoyable because you’re doing it together, combined with the spontaneity element where doing something out of your usual habit you discover new ways to evolve with one another and to grow and strengthen your relationship.  It will no doubt provide some good chuckles along the way, and you’ll have a whole new subject to talk with each other about.  You could even do your homework together.

Who knows where singing lessons will then lead to.  Something surprising may lead to something that becomes a new habit that you share.  You may begin seeking out opportunities to perform or groups to join, or you may just give the neighbors a good concert while you cook supper.  Whatever it is, doing something surprising does not have to mean bungee jumping; it can mean learning new skills that you may share and incorporate into your future together.
