Opel Astra 1.6 8v problems!?
And I have a opel astra 1.6 8v reg car, I'm having trouble with the principal. The car seems to keep getting the car and the key light coming on board after the engine has warmed. I had the car in the diagnosis and error codes are P1550 P1120 P1122 know what means those codes and the accelerator pedal sensor has been replaced and the throttle body has. (Sorry for being vague, do not know much about cars I am writing this for my boyfriend!) In addition to topics such as fault codes the car has had a new fuel filter / fuel pump / probe lambda / EGR valve / Clean the throttle body input / output plugs clean provoked. Can anyone give advice as to what else might be wrong with this car as when the lights went out the car runs like a dream! I many people have pointed to a defective unit, but I know this is very expensive to replace so do not want to go that route if there is anything we can do Thanks
Spark plugs should not be cleaned – if they are good they should have been replaced to do that. Also change the plug leads. Bad driving caps have been known to throw false codes Ecotec engine
