Cerulean blue water
Kissing the sun

The tropical paradise
Watching the kids play

Of the thick down coat
That envelopes my body
As a light breeze comes
To lick the sweat trickling

“What is wrong with you”

“Take off that coat-cool off.”
But it’s no use I am zipped up
And locked in, mailed the key
To the chilly state of Alaska.
The closest to cold is so far away
How can I make it to Alaska?
Where I can find my key,

Hi again. I have had the fortune in my life’s journey to have lived at both ends of your spectrum’s here and I do enjoy your poetry’s longing description of them. In mind it brought this quote to me; Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion; it is not the expression of personality, but an escape from personality.
